Unable to Create New Posting Period

Dear All,

I am unable to create a new posting period in Sap Business one 9.0.

The error being returned is

" You cannot add or update rule ; specified item does not belong to specified item group ""

Please help.

Dear Pankaj,

Also faced the same issue but managed to solve it. This happens when at least one of the advanced rules has conflicting details. For instance you could have rule on a specific item code but on the item group column you've entered a different item group to which the item does not belong. It could also be a warehouse to which the item does not belong.

So just check the advanced rules setup.

If yes, stop those and try to create the posting periods.
