Substitution - Query

Hi SAP Experts.

I have a query on Subsitution infotype. we have an employee whose work schedule is ABC and he belongs to grouping 01, for one day i am substituting him through daily work schedule and assigning different work schedule which is coming under the same grouping 01..

But my question here is.. when i am trying to create subsitution infotype for the subtype 02 shift substitution.. it automatically defaults DWS grouping as 02,, how come this one becoming default, is there any feature maintained.

Check in table V_001P_E,. whether the correct Personnel Sub Area is assigned to this substitution type.

Thanks for your reply, yes i could see that , its been grouped to some other grouping.. what i am seeing in IT2003 is different.

i have checked both the tables.. my question is simple . when i am giving substitution for one day for an employee through DWS who belong to grouping called 01,, when i create shift substitution for him IT2003, grouping will be 01?

Hi Sriram,

The system will automatically take the DWS grouping which is applicable for the employee on that particular day for which you are creating the substitution.
