Hi Everyone!
We're in the process of trying to roll out Internet Explorer 11 to our users. It mostly seems to work with our SAP estate okay, but we're seeing "Internet Explorer has stopped working" messages, and then a crash, upon accessing ITS (transaction PR05 in the ERP 6.0 EHP7 SP 6 backend). It's intermittent, but once you get the problem then it seems to persist until a reboot.
That's with Enterprise Mode enabled. If we disable this mode, then it works.
That might be enough for us to proceed, but we've also got a CRM instance (740 SP8) and likely the web launcher on that won't cope well with Enterprise Mode disabled. Also we have a number of non-SAP web offerings which might likewise be problematic.
IE11 seems to still have compatibility mode settings available so I'm sure we can experiment with those, but I'm trying to get a sense of what is possible. Anyone experienced this sort of problem? How did you "fix" it?
Best wishes, Chris
Hi Chris,
You may have a look at PAM to find the prerequisites for using IE11 based on the applications you are using.
