Change Job Log to English

Hi all,

is there an easy way to change the "default" language (for example from German to English) in which Job Log messages are displayed?

On Windows, you can easily add and change languages in the Language Control Panel. Make sure English goes on top.

On Linux, set the LANG environment variable. In the exceptional situation that English is not present, you'll have to generate a new locale first (locale-gen command).

Finally I got it!

In order to have the job log in English, you have to modify also the locale language of Data Services using the SAP Data Services Locale Selector tool.

You can try modifying the 'LANGUAGE' settings in REGEDIT (Registry Editor) and restart DS. As always, be extra careful while making any regedit changes.
