7.30 SP12 - CSS Problem with Internet Explorer (w/o compatibility mode)

Hey Guys,

I have a problem with CSS with Internet Explorer (w/o compatibility mode).

After Upgrading to SP12 and starting Portal with IE following CSS loaded:

  • prtl_std_ie6.css
  • glbl_ie6.css

Before we upgrade to SP12 following CSS loadad in IE:

  • glbl_nn7.css
  • prtl_std_nn7.css

My Question:

Is this new behavior in SAP12 or higher right? Please could someone check this issue in her own Portal and give me a feedback.

For Example: SAP Tradeshow Theme

In my opinion  prtl_std_ie6.css and glbl_ie6.css it's only for IE with compatibility mode.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Armin

Hi Armin,

NN7 css files are for mozila, it means that your browser was not recognized correctly as IE6 is the correct css files for IE.

In 7.31 SP12 with and without compatibility mode (only with the browser document mode iview in your framework page) your IE should get the ie6 css files and that is the correct behavior.

Are you using SAP out of the box framework page or customized?

And what is the issue you are experiencing due to this CSS change?

And also which version of IE are you using?

BR,

Saar

Hi Saar,

Thanks for your reply.

My issue was, that my CSS implemenation of one HTML Application (IView implementation) changed the layout after SP12 upgarde. I modified my Stylesheet and now it works fine.

We use IE11.

Thanks.
