How to Connect SAP Sybase 15.7 Database from Business Objects 4.1

Hi,

Our  SAP server ECC 6.0 with Sybase ASE 15.7 database. we have development & production server and SAP Business Object Edge 4.1 - SP05 server and Client Tools, Kindly help me how to connect our SAP Sybase DB from our Information Design Tools.

What are the ODBC driver needed and how  connect DB fron IDT and advice the steps.

I have installed Sybase SDK 15.7 32 bit version and Sybase IQ 16.0 32 bit version and created system DSN in 32-bit ODBC, our Sybase DB connection is  successfully but our DB tables are not appearing in our data foundation only showing sys tables.

server OS is windows 2012 64 bit

Hi Dawa,

Thanks for the reply. Now i connected to our Sybase ASE DB. But Now i can not able to add more than one table in my Data Foundation. below error displaying.

insert tables

[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Attempt to locate entry in sysdatabases for database '%' by name failed - no entry found under that name. Make sure that name is entered properly.

Kindly advice me to solve the above error.
