Settlement of costs from cost center to Real estate objects

Hi,

We are using Flexible real estate management and we are in EHP-7 (ECC 6.0) and we would like to transfer the costs from a cost center to a real estate object.

Transaction RECOSESNG allows the settlement only when the sender is a RE object. So, we have tried using the transaction code KSU1. However, system is expecting the “Groups” of RE objects (buildings / properties) as the receivers.

So, could you please suggest how to create the “groups” for real estate objects? We have tried creating sets in GS01 (with structure CCSS – and field as OBJNR_IB), but system is not accepting the sets as well.

In this context, please let us know:

1.) The correct process to transfer the costs from cost center to Real estate objects

2.) How to create the “groups” of the RE objects? As in the case of the other CO objects, can we have groups of RE objects for reporting purpose (at least)?

Thanks & Regards,

Pavan Potharaju.

Dear Pavan,

firstly, the question it more related to controlling, because in RE-FX, settlement is only from RE objects to other cost objects(e.g. cost center).

Now, is the answer for your question:

we never have settlement for cost center in standard system, which means, there is no functionality to maintain settlement rule for cost center.

But in stead, you can use the functionality "allocation", there are two kind of allocation in controlling named distribution and assessment.

1)You will need to create a cycle and segments for distribution(T-CD: KSV1) and assessment(T-CD: KSU1), here, you can maintain the sender as cost center, and receiver with real estate objects.

2)it is not able to create groups directly for RE object, but in stead, you can use "SETs", please check the transaction GS01.

If you do not have much knowledge, I would suggest you to check with you CO colleague or consultant of CO.

Hi Bowen,

Thanks for your reply.

Issue is resolved by creating the sets for Real estate objects using the transaction code REEXSET.

Thanks,

Pavan.
