Certificate of conformity acknowledgement

Dear experts

For some few raw materials, for trusted vendors, and for non-critical products, we receive yearly a certificate of conformity. In the material master settings, we set that no certificate of analysis is required, what is true, as this vendors state the conformity of their deliverables through this yearly statement.

Nevertheless, we would like to store these documents in the system and later retrieve them by material-plant combination or vendor number.

My question is how do we record these certificates of conformity?

Hi Maria,

I think you can try using Q-Info record (Tx - QI01) by material/Plant/Vendor, where you can store the CoC by -

a) Linking appropriate DMS object under Quality Agreement tab in Q-Info record.

b) Or, activating "Services for Object" functionality and storing the yearly CoC in Q-Info record.
