PDF Conversion more than 199 Pages - RSTXPDFT5

Dear All,

We tried to a Comvert a PS Report CJI3 to PDF using the Program RSTXPDFT4.  It was suggested that you will have to use RSTXPDFT5 if it is more than 99 Pages but the program RSTXPDFT5 also has a Limitation. It will convert only if the output is maximum 199 pages. But our requirement is to convert more than 199 pages.

Anyhelp will be much appreciatied.

Hi Shareeq,

easiest solution will be that you create a device-type which converts your output to pdf, for example with device-type PDF1. Ask your basis-guys, they will know what to do.

You have not shared much details about the goal of your converting, but I think you will be good with having an defined output-folder.

Hello Shareeq,

You have some other options beside using report RSTXPDFT5    

1.Create a Frontend output device. (Access method G,device type PDF1)Set up a 'Print to File' printer in the Windows Print Manager of the Frontend PC as described in Note #576973.Then you can print the spool as PDF file.

2.In tcd:SP01,select the spool request,from menu bar 'spool requests'->forward->export as PDF.

3.There is also a solution which print directly a PDF file on the SAP server via backend Access Method L as described in the note:
