Disclosure Management Upgrade: old Installation and Upgrade Guides

Hi

An upgrade from Disclosure Management 10.0 SP5 to 10.1 cannot be done directly. First 10.0 SP6 -> SP7 -> SP8 have to be installed.

But where can I find the Installation and Upgrade Guides for 10.0 SP6 / SP7 ? On SAP Help Portal I can only find the documentation for 10.0 SP8 or 10.1 (http://help.sap.com/boall_en/).

Dear Christoph,

If you go to SMP and follow the path to download software up to A-Z,

1. Select D and then SAP Disclosure Management

2. Select SBOP DISCLOSURE MGMT 10.1

3. Select SBOP DISCL MNGM SERVER 10.0

4. Select # OS independent

5. Scroll down and sort by last changed

6. You should see - DISCMGMS06_0-20008509.EXE SP06 for SBOP DISCL MNGM SERVER 10.0

7. Click on info (note patch level should be 0)

8 You will get a pop up window with Notes:

1893992

1894962

1894960

These will provide you with the installation process and all prerequisites

I always advise that after each upgrade you test the application before proceeding to the next SP

Follow the same steps for SP07 to SP08

SP07 refer to SAP Note 1930584

SP08 refer to SAP Note 1975597

Thanks for your response.

I know the notes but I was looking for the Upgrade Guides (which do exist for the latest SP of 10.0 and 10.1). So as suggested, Upgrades are done based on notes only.

Hi Christoph,

Yes you are correct. The guide to updates to SP are provided in the release/installation Notes. Sometimes if there are other requirements/prerequisites, additional guides are provided within the notes
