Performance issues for huge data amount while using IP

Hello Guys,

I am implementing SAP IP, for a client and thus came upon a questions.

How much data can SAP IP process. I understand since IP uses BW data model thus may be able to consume huge amount of data.

But from the performance perspective, how many rows may be optimum to open for input. suppose 100 or 200.

Hi,

IP can handel more than 100 or 200 row, it all depends on the business requerement (to stay user freindly), how you are managing data (only input, standard planning functions, fox functions, etc) and how your IP model is designed (how many fields in the aggregation level and input query)
