how to use same candidate id when rehiring same employee

Hi All,

in my org when an ex employee(Candidate)  joins org again we are creating new employee id for him , and if i use same candidate id to perform activities,so while hire him/her system automatically takes old employee id . to resolve this issue i have delimited CP to P relation in HRp1001.

but we are not able to old user id for candidate its disappeared from HRP1001 when we hire candidate is there any way to get old user id for candidate

without userid system will not allow external candidate to login    in our system.

Hi Ashish,

The standard behavior is following:

There is an external candidate which you hire -> he becomes an employee. If he leaves the company, he automatically becomes an external candidate again which you can rehire.

Regarding the user: don't you know the old user ID or is it locked?
