standard partition for linux and HP-UX

With all i would recommend try to involve OS experts as well for partitioning and all, generally recommended partitions are

/boot  minimum 100 MB

swap space 1597355 - Swap-space recommendation for Linux

& 1121904 - SAP on AIX: Recommendations for paging space

/  Complete left space on the system (Total Disk space )

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

As this completely depends on hardware space capacity on which you're going to perform the activity.I would recommend you to follow SAP Notes as well SAP installation guides

171356 - SAP software on Linux: Essential information

1048303 - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x: Installation and upgrade

In addition follow SAP Note  1597355 - Swap-space recommendation for Linux

Hope this will help you.

Good luck !!
