Analysis Office1.4 issue in running planning Functions

Hi ,

We are running BEx input ready Query from Analysis office 1.4 SP11 and after inputting few input ready keyfigures when trying to run the planning function of type Formula, getting the error message as in the attachment. But if we save the data of input ready key figures and colse the Analyis office and reopen it and run the planning funtion it runs fine.Our BW system is 7.4 SP8. Also if i delete existing data request in cube and reset the data source in analysis office report, its not getting refleted, ie., even the deleted data which was shown before still getting displayed even though its been deleted in cube.  Please suggest for resolving the same.

Hi Bharath,

as the error message says, there seems to be something wrong with the char relationships.

So check, what char relationships are defined in your system

Check what derivations of char are running when you save the data.

Compare that with the logic that your formula is doing.

There must be something wron within this whole scenario which is overcome by first saving the data and afterwards running the function. Probably some derivation is running and "correcting" data.

Or is there any function running when you saving the data?
