Agentry Client on Windows Surface

Hi Experts,

We wanted to run the Service Manager App in Windows Surface Pro 3. I have installed the WPF Client in the surface but I am not able to run it.

I used the same client that was used in the laptop ( using Windows 7 ).

I could not find any Service Manager App in Windows Store as well..

How we can run Agentry Client in Windows Surface Pro 3.

Please suggest..

Thanks

Jay

Hi,

It seems that there might be an issue with the .NET Framework 4.5.x on the Surface 3 Pro, which is causing the Agentry Client to behave strangely.  This issue is resolved in .NET Framework 4.6 or 4.6.1, and the Agentry client should run correctly with these .NET versions.

Cheers,

Jon

Does anyone have a resolution to this problem?  We are seeing the same behavior - when the client is executed, nothing happens.  The Surface Pro 3 has .NET 4.5.1 loaded.

What is the version of the WPF client?

Are you getting an error when you open the client?

Hi Stephen,

We are using 7.0.5 version. Am not getting any error. The client is not opening it up...

Thanks

Did the .Net Framework 4 also install successfully?

Hi Stephen/Bill,

I tried downloading the Mobile Service Manager 4.2 from Service Market Place and installed in the Surface. Still am facing the same challenge? Client does not open up the interface...

Jay
