Hi folks,
I installed a new installation of AO 2.0 on my laptop and I a getting the following error message when trying to insert a datasource.
I am expecting to see the logon to BW dialog prior to insertion of an existing (and working with 1.4 datasource).
I tried all, even deinstall and reinstall AO 2 a second time.

Joerg:
Just to let you know I experienced the same error on a test laptop using Excel 2010 this weekend; since I have Analysis 2.0 working on a machine with Excel 2013 I won't submit an incident but if you get a fix for this would you please report back here?
I suspect it is a registry setting or something to do with .NET or VSTO (my guess)
Thank you,
Tammy

Hi Tammy,
all required components are in place
I am using Excel 2010 on both systems
As I said, One works fine, the other sends 'Index was outside the bounds of the array.' error
I have choosen Netweaver as platform or selectable...both reacts the same.
Even before I get the Logon after selecting (memorized) datasource or workbooks that meessage appears in BO message box
Any help is greatly appreciated
TIA
Joerg
Hi Joerg,
Could you please try to install the 2.0 version SP2?
I believe that once you remove Analysis for Office 2.0 from your workstation and install the SP2 it will works.
Could you please check?
Also, are you connecting to the BW, HANA or BIP system?
Are you able to share the LOG file according to the SAP note 1909644?
Kind regards,
Diego Ferrary
Hi Diego,
I already use SP2 and still have the problem.

Hi Joerg - I also wonder if you could check your registry settings mentioned in this SAP note (also note the warnings too): http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2150354
