SAP BW AUTHORIZATION: Restricting key figure field

Hello

Kindly help me with the following requirement.

We have been asked to restrict most users from viewing the key figure salary amount from the query.

I created an authorization analysis object and restricted zcalc_ctc using 0TCAKYFNM (I, EQ, zcalc_ctc). There are no excluding option available.

Currently, i have assigned this to a test user and it can view the key figure field which I dont want.

How can I fulfill this requirement.

Hello anubav,

I think providing range between the key figures will work,

Exclude zcalc_ctc under 0TCAKYFNM key figure and provide key figure range which required.

lf 0TCAKYFNM is marked authorization relevant then you should be able to able to use range values to exclude the salary key figure (i think it is 0ANSALARY). Excluded operator is not valid for 0TCAKYFNM , it is valid for only 0TCAVALID so you will not be able to use it to exclude a value. Like the rest of SAP fields, you will have to maintain a range for exclusions.
