It would be helpful if you specified the browser name and version that you are using.

Thanks everyone.  I should have been more specific:  I was using IE 11 (the corporate standard!) and indeed, that was the problem.  It seems to be working fine now in Chrome (version 42.0.2311.90).  Previously I saw (or maybe thought I saw?) the problem in Chrome, but can't reproduce it now.

Jive isn't compatible with IE11.You need to use Chrome or Firefox. SCN is changing platforms, and I suspect this lack of support is one of the reasons.

In quick reply not even Chrome works, it's terrible.

Hi,

From system, copy and paste your code on text file.

Later, from text file you can copy and past it here SCN.

Lets try and lets us know results.

Thanks

I can't paste either.   Have confirmed that I'm trying to paste raw text (copied from Notepad).  And I've tried 2 different browsers

Hi Ram

Could you try to do following setting in IE11,

  1. To open the IE Developer Tools press F12
  2. On left side change to the options "Emulation"
  3. Change the "Documents modus" to 5
  4. Change the "Browser Agent" to "Internet Explorer 7"

If that is the answer, it is not a good answer. A lot of us are stuck using the one and only authorized browser of the corporate image, which is IE11 in my case. Cut works, but copy and paste do not.

It is that IE11 and Jive don't work together.

I just tested it, Chrome works well, IE11 works well in PHP based forums, but unfortunately not with Jive, which means you have to suffer until the 1DX success story is launched
