Hello All,
I see that the MDM logs of my landscpe are getting over written every 3 days. I do not see any specific INI file parameters controlling this. How can I retain the MDM logs longer than 3 days?
Hello!
The maximum size of the MDS logfiles can be altered by the mds.ini parameter "MDM Log Watermark":
The value is the maximum size (in bytes) an MDM log file can grow to before a new log file is started. Value must be greater than 1048576 (1 MB). Default is 2097152 (2 MB).
You can also configure the maximum number of log files, with the "Max Number of Log Files" parameter:
The value is the maximum number of log files to keep in the MDS \log dir. After this number is reached, the oldest log file is deleted. (If set to 0, MDS still keeps one log file). Default value is 20.
BR,
Carlos

Hi Anu,
I agree with you on this. Please check if the same time period holds for other environments also.
It seems like a script or job which has set this retention period by deleting older entries.
Thanks,
Ravi
