Hi All
when we are the subjecting component( indiviual part ) or Product( entire vehicle) to IMDS check( by clicking check compliance in
Compliance workbech)
1. What are the checks that are made ?
2. Is it standard defined checks by SAP or it that we can define these as per requirements ?
3. If at all it has to be defined, then where I can do it ?
Thanks & Regards
Satish
Hi Satish,
In EHSM IMDS check is a combined check of the relvant IMDS Recommendations (see IMDS portal pages for more details) and the substance list check for the Global Automotive Declarable Substance List.
You can see the configured check criteria in IMG 'SAP EHS Management' -> 'Product Compliance' -> 'General Configuration' -> 'Regulations and Compliance Requirements' ->'Specify Checks for Compliance Requirement and Check Criteria'.
A detailed description of the check criteria can be found in SAP Help: Criteria for IMDS - Product Compliance (EHS-MGM-PRC) - SAP Library
Regards,
Andreas
