Hi ,
I would like to know how to check the health of connection between two sap system.
I am trying to pull data from ecc ehp7 system XYZ( oracle db) to bw hana ABC system but it took much time. 2000 bw info object transferred in 1.5 hrs. Much higher than average time 1hr.
As it is a hana system, task should run fast.
Both systems are in different domain.
Please help..
Thanks,
Pavan
Hello,
I just want to check how fast is the connectivity between two sap system.
BW system fetch the data from ECC system & do the analysis later.
data fetching part consumed much time which should not be happened as the BW system is running on HANA DB.
What else factors do count on data fetching through RFC?

Hello Pawan,
Even if your BW is on Hana , your ECC still is on traditional Oracle DB, maybe the extraction from ECC is taking longer.
If you search on SCN, you will find several blogs / docs that will help you understand where the bottleneck could be.
For e.g. please check the following blog:

Hi Pawan
In SAP two system connectivity is based on RFC connection, you can refer the SCN Wiki link, I am not sure about the SAP BI Hana.
