Hi
We have migrated to BO 4.0 from BO 3.0 . During report testing in R4 we have found the following errors:
1. During refreashing the Report:An internal error occured while calling ‘getPromptList’ API. (error: ERR_WIS_30270)
2. During selecting LOVs for Prompt:com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException: An internal error occurred while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)
3. During Scheduling the report:Database error: ct_connect(): user api layer: internal Client Library error: Read from the server has timed out.. (IES 10901)
Please share your idaes to resolve these errors.
Thanks
Ghanshyam

Hi,
There could be a very great number of things which could be tripping up this process . it'll be hard to find out what!
it could be a prompt that needs recreating, or a formula which is broken, for example. I'd recommend using the Note facility SAP Note & Knowledge Base Article Search | SAP Support Portal .. and searching the keywords of the error, for example:
1596593 - Intermittent errors when refreshing a report: processDPCommands or getPromptList
2154043 - Web intelligence schedule fails intermittently with error "An internal error occurred while calling 'processDPCommandsEx' API. (Error: ERR_WIS_30270)".
