org.xml.sax.saxparseexception: character reference "�" is an invalid XML character

Hi experts,

I have created an information space in BO explorer 4.0 (SP9).

Indexing was successful. But when I am trying to open the information space I am getting following error message.

org.xml.sax.saxparseexception: character reference "&#0" is an invalid XML character

The source is an universe based on SAP BW InfoCube.

Please give me suggestions.

Hi Indira,

You can narrow down the cause by eliminating facets/measure from index query and then try to open it.With this we can figure out if the issue is with some specific facets/measure.

Hi Pranay,

Thank you for the suggestion. It is very helpful.

It seems we have NULL (Not Zeroes) Values for our key figures in the info provider. That's why we are facing this error. But with your suggestion. I could eliminate the possible measure/ key figures.

This Problem occurs with key figures only.
