Hello friends,
We are using ML for over one year with actual costing activated. During April 2015 close, we came across a strange situation where production order variances were not allocated to consumption, though they were allocated to ending inventory. The semi-finished products produced were consumed in the same plant into higher level product. For the same material every thing was fine in previous months. Any idea what caused the issue?
Regards,
Prasad
Hi,
If your inventory is revaluated but production variance is not allocated to consumption then check price determination of receiver material. It must be "2"

Hi prasad
There may be 2 scenarios 1) Not allocated 2) Not distributed
Not allocated happens when single level PRD is not allocated to multilevel and not going to consumption or still multilevel execution is not done
In your case check the material whether single level PRD is properly done...if not please do it in CKMH for that material

Hi Prasad,
Regarding the cause of "Not Allocated" value, there are many possible reasons.
