Hello all,
I have been editing some reports from a migration (7.5 to 10.0) some of them we decided to reconstruct. Here the case is that the client was able to use the MemberSet to automatically define the "layout" of the report based on specific combination (CURRENCY + ACCOUNT) which was reproduced for a COSTCENTER member and to all his base levels if it is a parent:
To have an idea here is an image of the report with several CostCenters:
And as you can see ,always the following combination:
COSTCENTER_X DCUR 70100
COSTCENTER_X DCUR 70150
COSTCENTER_X LC 70200
COSTCENTER_X LC 70300
.............................................................
COSTCENTER_Y DCUR 70100
COSTCENTER_Y DCUR 70150
COSTCENTER_Y LC 70200
COSTCENTER_Y LC 70300
.............................................................
I was able to create a report for one COSTCENTER member, but when I try to select a parent member it duplicates for each account the currencies values, no mather what I try (Excel functions, EPMDIMENSIONOVERRIDE). I suppose that Exclude certain member combinations from the EPM tab isn't a possibility since it is supposed to work dynamically for the end-user (a new cost center won't be automatically excluded).
Please any ideas on this would be very appreciated.
Thank you very much for any effort you may put on this question.
Best Regards,
Tiago Carvalho.
Hi Tiago,
DCUR 70100
DCUR 70150
LC 70200
LC 70300
if in the entire report always the above combination needs to be repeated for each costcenter.
Then in the edit report>>exclude members
exclude below member combination for Currency and Account dimension.
DCURR 70200
DCURR 70300
LC 70100
LC 70150
Please build a report with order costcenter, currency, account in row axis.
or please check the below thread for static report by using member recognition.
Thanks,
Dinesh.V
