Import WSDL in NWDS Error

Hi All,

In order to develop complex interfaces with NWDS, we need to connect NWDS with our PO 7.4 (Java-Only Deployment). However, we have the error while trying to import WSDL in NWDS. Specifically, according to the guide from William Li (steps 15-20), we tried to import service interface from ESR to NWDS:

After clicking the Finish button the window above does not close and 2 error messages appear in error log:

Service interface can be found in the explorer view (tree on top left view) and defined service group is also visible. When we opened service group we get error message:

And when we want to assign the service interface for an automated activity in process (BPM) we get this error:

We are not sure what might be the cause of the error so could you please provide some insights to troubleshoot the errors?

In addition, in the server-side, for the development with NWDS, do we need to enable NWDI in PO if we configure System-to-System Message Orchestration with BPM? I found that NWDI is currently disabled in PO system:

Other Functional Units including Java Foundation, SLD, Service Registry, Process Server, CE Platform, and CM Services have been configured and enabled.

I would be very grateful for any feedback to solve the issue.

Best regards,

Duy

check if the nwds version is matching your po server.

nwdi is not required, even it is needed, it will not enabled on your po server usually.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. We use SAP NWDS 7.31 EHP1 SP15 and according to the note 1791485, it should work with our PO server.

Duy

Yes, our PO server is 7.4 SP10. And NWDS 7.31 EHP1 SP15 is also the latest NWDS available at the moment.
