Hi Experts

I currently have an issue where the stocks of predecessor product is not being used up first. What happens is Purchase Requisitions are created at successor product when heuristic is executed. Not respecting the stock of predecessor product.

Really hoping for your help.

Sincerely, Ria

Hi Rahul,

I implemented 1819369 - /SAPAPO/SNPLLC - SAVE_WITH_CYCLES but the order of LLC is not being reversed for both products. Predecessor should be 0 and Successor 1. However, it is the other way around.

Sincerely, Ria

Hi Ria,

Check your interchangeability master data, have you maintained it correct? Have you maintained full as direction and use-up strategy as Yes?

Could you check and confirm.

Hi Experts,

Thanks for the replies. Looks like there is an issue with the LLC that is causing the error. The other material is at level 0 and the other is at level 1. May I kindly ask how to correct this? Seems like running LLC cannot fix the issue.

Sincerely, Ria

Hi Ria,

Are you using the other material in the same BOM or in some other BOM where it might be at next level? Cross check SAP note

1796417 - FAQ: Composite SAP Note for determination of low-level code in APO (PP/DS,SNP)

So you are not using BADI /SAPAPO/SNP_INC_STFW as per note 1482354.

Hello,

This seems like a master data problem. Please properly set your master data for interchangeability.

Product Interchangeability in Supply Network Planning - Supply Network Planning Run - SAP Library

Use check box for "Add product from super session chain" in /SAPAPO/SNP01 screen.

Hi Ria, Kindly check your interchangeability group which you have defined. check for use up strategy, it should be "Yes" and valid from date"from which date you want to use stock of predecessor product" and direction "Forward". Kindly check mentioned points and advise. Regards, Rajesh Tiwari

Hi Ria,

Can you share the location and cross location specific dates you've maintained in your Chain.

You have to use the standard SNP planning book called 9ASNP_PS with data view PROD_SUBST to be able to take product interchangeability into account in Supply Network Planning or your own PB which you've copied from 9ASNP_PS.

Can you check whether there is any demand originally created for Successor Product.

Thanks

Hi,

Please make sure low level codes are correctly generated.
You can run /sapapo/snpllc once for the whole model, making sure no cycle in the model so that LLCs are updated.

Hi Ada,

Thanks for the reply but the issue is with interchangeability and not with the orders created in the bom.

Sincerely,

Ria
