System Alerts for Bank Guarantees when due dates are approaching

Hi Gurus,

There is a requirement from the client that system alerts should be made available for Bank Guarantees when the due date is nearing.

Is there an option as such in SAP ?

Hi Jyothi,

Within SAP Bank Communications Managemant you will find the Alert Monitor. But I don't know if that is what you are looking for.

Can I map the alert when Guarantees are nearing their due dates ? or is the Alert Monitor only useful for monitoring payments ?

Hi Jyothi,

I don't know anything about your process (e.g. how do you enter the bank guarantees? Maybe transaction F-38?).

Maybe a more easy way to meet your requirements is to use workflow to trigger an alert. I also think that the workflow solution is more flexible than the alert monitor in bank communication management.
