Class for Product Item Varient

Hi All

I have Product item variant in the product structure. Class of  class type 056 is assigned to it.

For this class charactertistic  values are assigned to the characteristics.

Technically how can I find the relation between PIV, class type , class, charactertistic and its value.

I need this because I need to restrict the explosion level of Product structure based on the charactertistic values.

Hi Satish,

for configuration you need to use classes with class type 300.

Then create the product items with this class assignment.

Thanks for your reply.

But in our case the default class assignment for PIV is class type 56.

What I was looking for was how technically I can find the relation between

PIV, class type , class, charactertistic and its value.

Can you please help me out, I am not aware of this.
