Job Alert when runtime is unusual

Hi All,

Is it possible to determine when a job runs longer than it's usual run?

For example:

Job 1 is usually finished after 10minutes but today it finished after 1hour.

So what we need is a notification from this job when it runs longer than usual.

Or even a script with the list of all jobs with unusual run.

Alyssa, As Gerben suggested, try using the option 'Estimated Run time' option from the run time limit field.  I think this option you can use for offset of runtime estimation based on previous runs of the job.

You can use the runtime limit field for that on Definitions and Chains.

We do not know how long the jobs will run. What we just wanted is that for example,

The job runtime for the past weeks is average of 2mins, then today the runtime duration is 30minutes.

With this scenario the job should send an email that this job ran longer than usual.
