Is it possible to transform SFG material directly to FG material

Hello,

I am currently working in a manufacturing corporation.

I would like to know if it is possible to transforn SFG material code directly to FG code; if yes, how?

The scenario is like this,

we are doing a bundling activity which involve two SFGs as declared on the system: A and B.

A is originally an FG but they currently have a different material code (say FG material code is C).

B is an acquired item, no issues here.

Now that the bundling activities are done,

There had been 100 units of material A that is unused and will never be used.

We wish it to be included in material C's total inventory.

I wish you could help me.

What about transfer posting from A material to C material by using movement type 309.

Hello

The best way to do that is using a production order. You should create a BOM where the SFGs are components, create a production order on transaction CO01 and post a confirmation on transaction CO11N.

Hi Sir,

isn't though that transfer posting will retain its original material code?

Hi Sir Caetano,

We had tried this and find it all acceptable.

Thank you very much,
