You can directly define a hierarchy on material type. This way, you can show the sums as you desire.

you can use the 0PLANT result rows always -> it will give each line result rows.
for 0PLANT use the sort by ascending for descending order.
do same changes for material type.

As Cornelia said above, you should add additional object to your masterdata to differentiate each material type based on their group (which is the object added) so that you will have the desired RESULT..
