Sales or service Organization determination in service request based on the Country maintained at IBase level

Hi Experts,

i have a requirement, Sales or service Organization should get determined in service request transaction type based on the Country maintained at Installed Base level.

please any one  can guide me for this requirement.

Hello,

The following information will give you some direction about the implementation.

1. Setting up the org model with proper data.

The sales or service org model should have the country attributes and the corresponding values in it.

2. Create org determination rule, org data profile.

Assign the org determination rule to org data profile, which in turn will be assigned to transaction type.

3. Configure org determination rule such that it looks for data in org model.

It has two types 1. Org model rule 2. Responsibility rule.

You can use Org model rule where you will be assigning a function module. Build your logic to query the org model based on the ibase country and finally fill the return parameter with the list of resultant org unit ID.
