Job architecture

Hi,

can somebody help me to understand the following concept in talent management:

1. job architecture
2. functional area
3. job family
4. jobs
5. some pointers / tips/ things to do and don't when creating job architecture?

Hi,

A functional aea (object FN) comprises job families (object JF).

A job family comprises job(s) (object C).

A job describes a position(s) (object S).

Together these objects create a job architecture/catalog.

Do: assign qualifications to these objects, making use of the inheritance mechanism.

Don't: make the architecture too complex because this will result in heavy maintenance.
