COST CENTER ALLOCATION in SAP BPC

Hello All,

We have requirement where we need to allocate from sender cost centers to receiver cost centers in SAP BPC. My query is:

1. Our client is having Assessment cycle run every month is ECC- Can we use the same as Actuals and Forecast.

2. Can we use same Sender and Receiver Cost Centers in SAP BPC  by extracting them to SAP BW and how?

3. Else any alternate solution for allocation from SAP BPC perspective?

Yeah its first time I am involved in it so. Its BPC 10.1 we are using and have maintained Cost Center Dimension.

Do I need to maintain property for the same i.e. Allocation and its hierarchy?

Ups, "Yeah its first time I am involved in it so" - looks like you have to talk with finance and BPC consultants locally...

You really need a better understanding of the process.

Allocation mechanisms in BPC are absolutely different then in ERP...
