Hi,

I am getting below error while trying to connect with SFTP server from PI 7.11 (Receiver channel).

Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Algorithm negotiation fail

But using 3rd party tool (File Zilla) i am able to connect to SFTP server.

Can anyone please let me know the reason for this issue?

Please check for latest patches for the SFTP adapter or upgrading to SP03 or SP04. There may be a fix in it which may help. Check if the below note is helpful.

Hi,

SFTP adapter have already been upgraded to SP04.

But still facing the same issue.

We are using password based authentication & not the Private key.

Issue got resolved by updating  JCE file Policy & by upgrading SFTP adapter to SP04.
