Inventory with ML

Dear All,

I am looking for your views.

We have Inventory setup and that is matching for stock quantity with BW report and MB5B (ECC report).

Issue is with 'Stock value' that is not matching with BW report and MB5B (ECC report).

Found that in ECC, Material Ledger is implemented and it shows the stock values in MB5B (ECC report) without material document.

because of this BW report is not matching for 'Stock value'.

We are looking for these material ledger values in BW report so that 'Stock value' will be same in BW report and MB5B (ECC report).

May be you can give some input.

Hello,

There can be entries passed to readjust values for the material price based on material revaluation. It will carry a FI entry

2LIS_03_UM will bring up those values and makes sure that stock value matches with MB5B. Try to find the FI entry and fill the setup table and check the value. The difference amount will be shown here.

I relooked and found, Revaluation 2LIS_03_UM datasource has two values only(in MB5B, there are around 25 values) without material document.

this is not giving a difference value?

Hello,

Have you filled all the FI document in the setup table or is it that UM is already brining the data to your inventory cube.

In MB5B it will clearly tell you the document number which are contributing to the value differences for a particular material ( which doesnot have material document number) . You will have to extract these document to correct your stock value

Yes, UM is already bringing the data to inventory cube.

Hello

You will have to use OLIZBW to fill UM in your source system. But if your inventory cube is already getting loaded with UM then you should looking into the value that UM datasource has brought in to your cube.

I found only two values from UM in infocube, whereas MB5B has many values without material documents. (With respect to one material).

Is there any other way to look for these material ledger values in inventory?

Hello,

Try this, from MB5B get the FI Document number which is contributing to this value difference.

Fill your setup table OLIZBW using these FI document number and company code calculation.

Now check whether the value in the setup table matches with differential value
