Solution Manager CRM_UI add texts

Hi,

I want to add the reply and description texts to an incident on solution manager:

Then after i save the result

And I when i see again the texts, they don't appear:

Can anyone help on that ?

But as far as I know the text with log won't show text after save, all previous saved text will be shown in the log only. The text box will only be used to input any new text you want to add. with this one cannot modify previous texts. Which is one of the purpose.

Yes I believe you are correct.

Texts defined as logging will only in the Text Log after saving.

Texts not defined for logging are the only texts which should appear in this view.

Hi,

But after that if I use the report CRM_ORDER_READ, the table ET_TEXTS does not have anything.

Hi Miguel

This sounds like a bug.

Log an Incident with SAP via SAP Service Marketplace (Check for  any notes first)

Hi Miguel,

I guess in your text profile configuration for your incident type, you're missing a text id of type 'R' (Log) that should store your changes in 'Description' and 'Reply' texts.

Hi Miguel

It is saved to the database definitely because you can see the Text Log entries.

I would say it is a bug, check on SAP Marketplace for notes on this subject.

If none exist I would recommend logging an Incident with SAP

Hi,

Arden I already put a message on the marketplace. I asked this question to know what it is the correct and normal process for the text messages. Basically if after save the transaction when we try to see the texts tab:

We have to have the text messages previous saved right ?
