Dear PP Experts,

We have Component allocation with Multiple Routing Group Counter & Multiple BOM usage /Alternates.

Our design is

Routning Group Counter 1 points to BOM usage 1 & alternate 1

Routing Group Counter 2 Points to BOM usage 1 & Alternate 2

Routing Group Counter 3 Points to BOM usage 6 & alternate 1

Rouitng Group Counter 4 Points to BOM usage 6 & alternate 2

We are using BAPI to do component allocation Master upload

I go above message when i use CA02/CA03 to see Component allocation after selecting usage 6  BOM(internal no & alternate) for Valid combination.

One of the reason could be because usage 6 don't have Production <Selected> , but this is master data , that tick is only for production order.

We do have Production Version, but it  should not impact as it is optional objects. You only need to set if Selection method is 2/3

Any leads, Note ... This is consistant & shows for many usage 6 BOM.

Hello Rupesh,

Note addresses the exact issue , but applicability upto 603 release Support pack SAPKH60301.. We are already on SAPKH61701.

We cannot apply this note..

May be i shd just configure Item relevant to production in BOM application.
