Firefighter IDS prompting for a log on screen even if set as service users

Dear Experts,

We are in SP10 GRCAC10 and the firefighters IDs were working fine until recently came across trying to Log on using FF ID in the target system asking the log in ID and password.

I checked all the FF IDs set as Service accounts and RFC connection is fine for both Connection test, authorization test and Remote logon.

Please advise.

Hello Sindhu,

I got SAP note for older version(SP7),not sure if it works or not,but you can try

1652880 - Firefighters are not able to login to target systems

Check if this note applies for you in the plug-in system.

Hi,

Could you specify the type of system: CRM or SRM, because certain t-codes CRM_UI will require second log-in. So, FF id has been recommended to be of type Dialog, for such systems

Dear Experts,

Thank you all for responding and providing helpful answers.

I noticed FF IDs are working normal now and the log in screen is prompted randomly.Not sure why this happens.

Will check for the recommended notes in the system and get back.

Hello Sindhu,

Passwords for all the FF ids should be disabled.
