Hi Experts,
Has anyone here installed SAP Business one in a PC running with a SSD hard drive. Apparently the SSD drive has the same technology as HANA which is flash memory. Hence if you have installed SAP business one in a SSD hard drive how is the performance ? Is it better than the HDD? Are you able to compare it with SAP HANA ?
Let me know !
Kind Regards,
SSD will definitely provide you more I/O than HDD. If you have heavy transaction volume, SSD should help.

Martin,
SSD and flash memory are hardware components. HANA is software and an in memory database/platform that utilizes RAM. Completely different technologies.
Any application on SSD will likely have better performance than if installed on spinning disk, but there is no comparison with HANA. HANA is written to use the hardware in a way that Business One cannot.
