Excise entries in GRPO and AP Invoice.

Hie,

I have booked GRPO, Incoming excise Invoice and AP Invoice and found GRPO and excise invoice JE is okay but in AP invoice two excise related accounts hit.

All screen are attached for further clarification.

I feel something wrong with G/L Account Determination.  Can you check or post the screen shot for G/L Account Determination , Tax setup Purchase A/C and Non Deducatable.

Hi Rohit,

I think, AP Invoice price varies from GRPO price.

If you see the AP invoice JE, you can see inventory account debit for 1000.

Same 1000 debited for expenses account and Purchase offset account also.

Please check GRPO price and AP Invoice Price.

Hi Rohit,

I tried to simulate same in my system.

And I found it happens if Freight charges added in AP Invoice screen which is not recorded at GRPO time.

Please check compare freight in GRPO and AP invoice screen

Rohit Jaswant,

At the time of GRPO your material cost 8000/- but when you post AP Invoice the value of Excise Rs.1000/- goes into material cost than hit the excise related account
