Hi,

Assume if staff is leaving orgranisation and staff has future IT15 records. How can we prevent such future payments?

example.

1. Staff's last day of service is 30 Apr 2015

2. Staff has some future IT15 records, say May 2015, June 2015

3. In May 2015, Payroll officer need to do some adjustment to Apr 2015. How can we prevent May 2015 IT15 record from processing/payment? Is there any way to prevent any future payments from IT15?

Regards

KK

If an employee has IT 15 for a future pay period as compared to the period of the current pay run, this IT 15 will not be considered in the current payroll.  That is the basic concept of any infotype relevant to payroll.

If you are simulating payroll for a future pay period corresponding to the IT 15 date, then it may be used

The same applies to infotypes relevant to time eval (T/E).  If you are running t/e for a period say 15 May 2015 to 28 May 2015, an IT 2001 entered for say 31 May 15 will not be used in T/E.

It may affect leave provision calculations in payroll for the pay period 15 May 2015 to 28 May 2015, because this function depends on leave projection and leave taken till end of the month.

As suggested by Jagan Gunja there is no point of playing around with Master data since is already built for such kind of scenario's even though record is maintained in 0015 for the month of May, Until and unless you process the payroll for the month of May system does not consider those records, in the month of April further more when you are processing payroll for the month of May but you do not wanted to consider them for Payroll then look at IT0000 where you have Employment status, Payment status accordingly we can play around with system further more we have IT0007 as well we can use all of them.

Hi,

In the It0003 you can mention the date of payment upto then it will not trigger from the next payroll period payroll run if IT15 is maintained there.

And another thing system would not consider future entry if you ahve not maintained the run payroll upto date in the IT0003 as future date after separation.
