HCI - Unable to connect to sfsf system from eclipse

Hi,

while I am trying to access the sfsf url for query configuration am getting below error(below is the screenshot).

I took the root ca of the sfsf url and placed inside the java keystore(cacert) at the JRE(eclipse referring to), then also same error.

I could access the sfsf url from browser.

any workaround for this will be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Avinash,

can you please confirm that you did the following:

Add the keystore(with the sf ca) to your tenant (deploy artifacts --> keystore)

Add credentials for the sf to your tenant (deploy artifacts --> credentials)

I'm guessing there is something wrong with the keystore. So either the upload/deployment did not go successfully or the process of adding the ca to your keystore failed. Can you share the process of adding the ca to the keystore with us?

Hi ,

>>

Add the keystore(with the sf ca) to your tenant (deploy artifacts --> keystore)

Add credentials for the sf to your tenant (deploy artifacts --> credentials)

these are required at the runtime.

I facing this issue in the design time itself.

Using portecle tool I have added the cert inside the eclipse keystore.

So you created the keystore with the cert via the portecle tool. But did you also deployed the new keystore to the tenant?

If you did that maybe you can try to add the cert again, but now follow this document.

for my issue no need to deploy the keystore to tenant, as am facing issue in the design time itself..

Using portecle tool, I added the certificate into eclipse keystore.

strange issue.

Oh I misread your previous answer, sorry.

But in design time, when entering the sf credentials, there is a connection made to sf to get the entity's. Perhaps they made use of the keystore after all. Other than that I don't know what could be the problem. Maybe log a ticket with SAP for this issue.

(and if you get your answer, I'm very curious what the solution was!)
