Hi All,

Error:-

It was not possible to retrieve the facets and their values. Can't start exploring the information space as it doesn't contain any data. (PS 50011)

I was able to pull the same data from HANA in Webi but in Explorer i am unable to pull the data as i getting the following error.

Any suggestions is helpful

Do you see any errors/warning when you try to "Validate" the explorer infospace ?

Hi Narashimman,

That is the only error is am able to see.....

I am able to to view data in another report in explorer but for this report i am unable to see the data.

I am attaching the screen shot for the following error.

Back end is hana and also variables are being used as prompts for the report.

Similar view with prompts are working in Explorer but for this particular report i am unable to view.

Thanks and Regards

what I meant was Go to "manage Infospace" -> and then open the Infospace for editing and then click on "Validate" and check if you get any errors.

What is the version of the your explorer installation?

Possibilities:

  1. There is/are  mandatory prompt(s) in the view you are using and because it is null you don't see data.
  2. Your personalization has some problems.
  3. If both of the above has no issues, Try creating a simple info-space with couple of objects based on the same view and check if works. (remote possibility but may be something went wrong with your current Infospace)

Hi Narashimman K S,

Thanks for the Info, the problem was with the prompts where the value wasn't being passed correctly and that caused the error.

I have rectified it and the report is working fine.

Thank you for the valuable information you shared across.

Thanks and Regards
