Hello Gurus
We are Implementing Top_down Budgeting solution Via SAP CRM using BW-BPS & PS. We needed some help in integration.
When Budget is planned at Marketing plan & hierarchy level it goes in BW system & a Project/WBS is created in PS.
Now point here is that budget should be committed through BW & available in ECC (PS). This is where we are not clear as to how this work.

Hi Rohit,
In CRM system, Go to transaction SPRO and follow the path: SAP Reference IMG>Strategic Enterprise Management-->Define Target Systems.
Here, the logical systems should be maintained. In RFC Destination column, give the logical name of the BW system. Then you can find the planning profile which was created in BW system in CRM system.
And then follow the steps given in the below document:

Hi Rohit,
The planned cost for various activities is entered in CRM using planning profile in the marketing planner and then the actual cost is entered manually in the WBS structure and corresponding purchase order is raised in ECC-PS module.
WBS element created in ECC gets updated and stored in BW, Once you have your project/WBS elements/structures in BW, you can use the BPC's standard functionality of loading master data using BW Info Object and get that information into your BPC System and later extract the analysis reports
It's bit tricky you need to check more from BW side

Hi,
Need experts thoughts.
We are using Top down Budgeting in Our Marketing Plan & in the process, when we click on 'Budgeting' tab after creating marketing Plan etc & the next screen is not coming up which is explained in the below link from help.sap.com.

In the screenshot provided above, the first 3 steps detailed in the procedure are working but not the 4th step for which the next page should appear after clicking the 'Budgeting' tab in which the complete hierarchy of marketing projects that belong to the marketing plan is seen.
As this 4th step is some thing to do with the BW Integration, we are not sure what is missing.
We did all the necessary settings as mentioned in the below link that details the steps related to 'Make System for Topdown Budgeting'.
