Best DMS doc types for specific status network

Hi everybody,

I need to process documents under a simple status network:

1.- In work.

2.- Requested for approval.

3.- If doc is rejected then go to 1 else go to 4

4.- Completed

Is there a doc type (without customizing) that fits this status network? or do you think that it could only be achieved by customizing?

Hi Cuauhtemoc Madrid,

This is a simple DIR with simple doc status. Yes, you can achieve this by 100% configuration.

Create sample DIR and In DC10 T-code select the Define Document Status and define your status.

Thanks Mr. EHS but what I really want to know is if there is a standard doc type that could meet this status network. I would like to be sure before to customize anything.

Not really as per your requirement (No standard DIR with status described by you above).

Standard DIRs are with some complected status or with simple, but i can suggest Q00 may be helpful for you to understand the scenario (but it have different status like locked and inspection).
