Hello everybody,
I would like to know if it is possible to install VE Generator on a virtual machine (which fulfills the system requirements of course) and if there is anything special which needs to be considered if doing so? I could not find anything regarding this in the installation guide unfortunately. Any experiences already made by somebody who has done so are welcome as well!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jochen,
There is no problem with installing/running VEGenerator in a virtual environment. Performance may be an issue depending on the environment but the architecture is supported.

Hello;
As far as i know the answer is a semi No.
Recommandations are to install the application on a physical machine, you can run the SQL database on a virtual machine.
That's the configuration i do use since 5 years now and never met any issues.
Hope that helps.
Daniel
