Hello,
we have an STO for 100 KG. The replenshiment delivery is also created for 100 kg. we have 100 kg in stock. but due to damage, the stock left is 98 kg.
1) we want to do PGI for 98 kg. For this we need to change the delivery qty to 98 kg manually to post PGI. My question is that , is there a way to change the delivery qty automatically to 98 kg without user manually changing it to 98 KG ?
2) Since STO is of 100 kg and delivery is of 98 kg. How can we close the STO ? is there a config to close the STO if STO qty and delivery qty is different or a user needs to manually close the STO. If yes, then how to close STO manually.
2b) what if we want to close the STO automatically (if STO qty=100 kg and PGI qty of replensihment delivery=98 kg) ?
regards
Pamela
Hi Pamela
1) You can use ATP check to reduce the delivery quantity during delivery creation but if the damage is discovered after delivery creation I think it has to be recorded manually.
2) Look at the customer master for the receiving plant. In the sales area shipping data there are partial delivery parameters that can be set to give you the behaviour you are looking for.

For a consistent posting you should amend the quantity of STO as well as delivery and of-course you need to do that manually.

Hi Pamela,
Patra is talking about the financial postings.
STO is also a type of PO. If you are talking about "Delivery competed" indicator then it is having the same functionality like in PO. It indicates that the item is to be regarded as closed.
If you do not reduce the quantity of STO then it will show you that you still have to do PGI for 2 KG. It depends always system to system how you have configured your open PO reports.
It will be good if you manully change the STO and delivery quantity.

SS
