Hi Friends,

THe BOM is flown correctly for the succeeding and preceeding orders only there is issue in 4 orders so there will not be any issue in Bs22, we haven't done any config changes.

There are no  change documents in CS02/CC07.

The BOM status in the Production Order is '0' from where this was flown.

Can anybody clrify.

Hello Sriahri,

Have assigned any Plant specific material status in material master for the components or header material?

did you get any error while running Read PP master data?

Please let me know your inputs .

Hi Srihari,

You need to check BOM status in CS02 / CS03 and not in production order. If the status of BOM header is set to "Inactive" in CS02 then system will not explode BOM while creating production order. User can still create order but system will show BOM status as 0 in production order CO02 / CO03.

In you case, I guess BOM was made inactive for some time. During that period user created 4 orders for which BOM was not exploded and then it was again set to active status.

please check this possibility in your system,

Rohit

Dear Srihari,

If you had previous orders, then the BOM was modified at the time of order creation (the 4 orders which you see issue). You can check the BOM change documents to identify the issue in that case.

Go to CS02/3. Go to Header.

Click on Environment -> Change documents.

Select "Full" to know what had happened, or choose "Document overview" to see each document. Click on document and you can see "Field description" which shows what had happened

Thanks

Hi Srihari,

Please go to BOM in CS02 and then Environment > Change Documents

Once you get to change document screen, click on "Document overview" button. You will get the list of change document. Double click to get the details of Oold & New entries.

For BOM status it will look somthing like this:

Check when status was changed from 01 to 02 or (from active to Inactive).

Hi,

Your order status itself shows NMAT, which means no material component. This status gets assigned when you create the order. As you have not forbidden the BOM checks in BS22, system checked if BOM is present or not, when the order was created. You must have got a warning while creating the order. So, the order is created without BOM, and the documents posted (DLV and CNF status present).

If you have created a BOM for this material, new order will be created properly.

To test this, you can create a new material, create routing then try creating an order (without BOM). System will give warning, but you will be able to create (Or set forbid rule in BS22) the order and status will be NMAT.

Thanks

Dear,

Check the validity period of BOM assigned and BOM application for this material.

Did you create Routing for this material? and also check the material master for "Basic data -2" in Basic material.
